Tomorrow is Easter!!

I am doing wonderfully well here at Kibbutz Afikim! I don't have time to write hardly anything before I get kicked off this computer, but I have to at least write something! We've been learning more Hebrew, working around the kibbutz and actually doing schoolwork for once. Tomorrow we are blessed to be able to have a sunrise service for Easter on the bank of the Jordan River! One of us will actually get baptized too! It'll be a great day! That's all for now!

  2. judging solely on the proportion of exclamation marks in that paragraph, i venture to guess that you're enjoying yourself. :) i'm glad. and i'm glad you had a chance to post even a paragraph!

i'll be interested to hear what Hebrew you're learning--we can compare notes when you get back. probably you're learning more speaking, while i'm learning more reading. did you know that kibbutz is the name of a Hebrew vowel? short U, one of the less used ones. it's a collection of 3 dots, hence the meaning of kibbutz. fairly cool.

enjoy your sunrise service there by the Jordan! i'll be heading out early to Beldor, which should be pretty cool, too.

  3. How nice to have an Easter greeting from you!!! I am enjoying having Darrel (and friends - Kevin and Shane and Tyler and now Kevin A) around. It's been too cold for them to play tennis outside but they got an indoor court for a hour or so yesterday.

Your Easter service sounds wonderful. Can't wait to hear more about it.
